"PTE", "PTE Core" and "PTE Academic" are referenced solely to describe the exam our materials help people prepare for. Independent practice platform. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pearson. PTE is a trademark of Pearson PLC. Scores here are practice estimates, not Pearson results.
We are also not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada. Information on this site about CLB levels, Express Entry or the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is provided for general educational context only and should not be treated as official immigration guidance.

3. No guarantee of results
PTE Core Free Practice provides structured practice, automated scoring estimates and study guidance. We do not guarantee any specific score, CLB level, exam result or immigration outcome. Actual results depend on factors outside our control, including your starting proficiency, effort, consistency and performance under real exam conditions.
4. Automated scoring
Speaking and writing feedback on this platform is generated by automated scoring rules intended to approximate the scoring patterns of the real PTE Core exam. These scores are estimates for practice purposes only and may differ from your official exam result. They are built to rank your attempts the way the real scorer would, so that an improvement in practice reflects a real improvement, but no practice tool sees your real test and no practice score is a Pearson result. Official scores come only from Pearson.
5. Accuracy of content
We make reasonable efforts to keep practice questions, exam information, score tables and scoring logic accurate and up to date, and our editorial policy describes how pages are checked against Pearson's published score guide and IRCC's tables. Even so, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, reliability or accuracy of this information. Exam formats, scoring rules and immigration policies can change without notice. Where a page gives a figure that Pearson does not publish, such as how much a task counts toward a skill score, it is our estimate and is labelled as such.
